Privacy Policy
Effective August 21, 2026
Big Idea Assemblies provides school assembly programs in Atlanta, Orlando, and Tampa. This site is operated by Big Idea Entertainment LLC. This policy explains what information we collect when you use bigideaassemblies.com, why we collect it, and who we share it with.
If you have questions about anything here, email digital@bigideaentertainment.com.
Information you give us
When you request a date and a quote, we collect the information you enter on the form. That includes your name, email address, phone number, the area you are booking in, your school or district, the approximate number of students, and any notes you add.
Depending on which form you use, we may also collect your preferred date and start time, the type of organization booking, and the address of the building where the assembly will be held.
If you book a call with us instead of submitting the form, our scheduling provider collects your name, email address, and phone number so we can hold the appointment.
We ask for this information so we can confirm availability, quote your assembly accurately, and get in touch. We do not sell it.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we collect some information automatically when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the site or advertisement that referred you.
We use cookies and similar technologies for this. The main ones are:
- Attribution cookie (
_bia_attr) — records which advertisement, campaign, or search brought you to the site the first time you arrived. Stored for 90 days. - Google Analytics cookies (
_gaand related) — measure how the site is used so we can improve it. - Meta cookies (
_fbp,_fbc) — measure whether our Facebook and Instagram advertising is working.
Two other things happen automatically:
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request information — your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you request — to keep the site running and to protect it from abuse.
- Fonts. Our typefaces load from Google Fonts, which means Google receives the request and can see your IP address when a page loads.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking them will not stop you from using the site or submitting an inquiry.
Advertising and measurement
We advertise on Facebook, Instagram, and Google. To understand which advertisements actually lead to bookings, we share information about form submissions with those platforms.
Some of that information is shared in hashed form. Hashing converts a value such as an email address into a fixed string of characters that cannot be read or reversed back into the original. It lets an advertising platform confirm a match against someone it already knows about, without us handing over readable personal details. The values we may share this way are your first name, last name, email address, phone number, city, state, and postal code.
We do not share the contents of your inquiry — your school, your student count, your dates, the building address, or your notes — with advertising platforms.
Who we share information with
We share information with service providers who help us run the business. Each one receives only what it needs:
- Our local teams. Orlando and Tampa are run by independent licensed operators. When you submit an inquiry for one of those areas, it goes to that operator so they can quote and run your assembly. Atlanta is run by Big Idea Entertainment Atlanta LLC.
- Customer records and scheduling — Pipedrive, which holds contact details, appointment bookings, and follow-up notes.
- Email — Google Workspace, which delivers inquiry notifications to the team that will run your assembly.
- Hosting and content — Vercel and Sanity, which serve this website.
- Analytics and advertising — Google and Meta, as described in the section above.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our staff, students, or staff at a school where we are working.
Children’s privacy
Our programs are performed for students, but this website is not directed at them. It is directed at the adults who book us — principals, assistant principals, media specialists, teachers, PTA and PTO officers, and district staff. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 through this site, and we do not market to children.
We do not collect information about individual students. A school tells us how many students will attend and which grade levels; it does not give us student records, and we do not ask for them.
If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, email us and we will delete it.
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete your information
- Stop using your information for targeted advertising
Email digital@bigideaentertainment.com and we will respond within 45 days. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and we may need to keep some records where the law requires it.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiry and booking records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our tax and insurance obligations. Analytics events are retained for 14 months. Advertising data expires on the schedules set by Google and Meta.
Security
Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection, and access to our booking and customer systems is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you give us. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by Georgia law.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. Material changes will be noted here.
